Level Up Your Potential: Five Steps to Transform Your Life

Do you care about making a positive impact in the world? Are you looking to move into the next level of your potential? I’ve long been on a journey to keep growing into my full potential, and I am really committed to making the world a better place. The world needs our efforts!


To help me on my journey, I’ve found a great deal of improvement in myself and difference I’m making through mentorship as well as what I have researched. That has led me to taking what I’ve learned and putting it into a system that I follow. Here are five steps of that system which help me make a meaningful contribution as well as continue to grow.



  1. Create a Dream Blueprint. Write a vision for your life. What pursuits bring you joy no matter the outcome? What problems to do you want to work towards solving, even in small ways? You might enjoy doing this through a vision board. If not that, write it out by hand first. After writing it out, you can then transfer it to an electronic format if you prefer.

  2. Know Your Why Take time to get clear about the powerful reason(s) you want to make your vision come true. How will your life be better? How will the world be better? You can support yourself in this by spending some time in a quiet space and journaling about these two questions.

  3. Set Your Focus Pick out goals monthly and weekly the most important thing you need to be working on to achieve your vision. The SMART goal method is great for your monthly goals. And for thinking about your weekly priority, you might enjoy the book The One Thing.

  4. Celebrate Small Wins Begin each day taking action towards your dreams and goals. Build a circle of support around you and embody your vision one step at a time. Celebrating a win, no matter how small, can help you build momentum and confidence. Spend at least 20 seconds physically celebrating to help lock in the benefit of the win in your brain.

  5. Practice SelfCare365 Take steps daily to fuel your tank. Treat yourself with love, and do things that support your well-being. You may have heard of self-care with more of a focus on buying goods and services. That can work, however I recommend you focus on things you can do at little or no cost such as a phone call to a loved one, a walk in nature and listening to music that lifts you up.


I encourage you to dive into this process today. If you have to, start with committing to 15-30 minutes to go through these five steps so that you can get started and see a boost immediately. Then if you desire, you can circle back and take a deeper dive. I’m happy to have coffee with you and go over this with you.
